FRIENDSHIP CONGREGATION
An important part of the church life in Abildgaard Church is the coorporation with our friendship congregations in Cambodia, Tanzania and Latvia.
Through the organization Danmission we support projects in Cambodia and Tanzania and in Latvia we cooperate with the friendship parish in Tornekaln in Riga. These partnerships give inspiration and strengthen the friendship between churches and across borders.
Through our commitment we want to build relationships between the churches and the congregations. Through information and activities we wish to tell about the living conditions and the projects in the contries we are engaged in.
Throughout the year many volunteers are engaged in activities that raise money to support projects in Cambodia an Tanzania.
In Abildgaard Church the primary contact to our friends abroad and the coordination of our work is carried out by The International Commitee with members of the parish board and volunteers from the congregation.
